Hey Doers of Get To Nation —
We like the name Doers as it aptly describes that WE GET TO DO THIS. It’s so fitting. Don’t you think?
Hard to believe we’re coming up on the one-year anniversary of WGTDT next week. Thank you for being here and building this amazing community.
We Appreciate You
We are so grateful for your support. Because of you, WGTDT is growing and becoming one of the top podcasts on Godcaster. Thank you!
As you know, WGTDT is a value for value podcast. If you feel like you’re receiving any value from the podcast, consider sending some value back. We have a few ways.
SEND A DONATION — The amount you send is whatever value you get from the show. It’s entirely up to you. We made it easy and created a donation page (wgtdtdonations.com) with multiple options.
Please make sure you include a note with your donation and also send it to notes@wgtdt.com so Adam and Pastor Jimmy can read it on the show.
GIVE FEEDBACK — We are always interested in your feedback. Leave a comment on Substack or send it to Adam (adam@wgtdt.com) or Pastor Jimmy (psjimmy@wgtdt.com).
SHARE — Share the podcast and the newsletter as it helps Get To Nation grow.
Here’s what Adam and Pastor Jimmy will discuss on Episode 47:
➡ Pastor Jimmy will bring a word of hope when standing in a storm as life rages around you.
➡ Get To Nation is responding to the call to disciple in our own neighborhoods. We have a Doers’ BOTG report.
➡ How has social media affected how we read and process scripture? There’s a trial happening right now and it may be focused on the wrong audience.
➡ Data centers and how Isaiah 8:12 helps us look at them differently.
Episode 47 will be sent directly to your email. We hope you tune in.
Thank you for your attention to this matter,
The Back Office Management

Hello to the Get To Nation!
I was so inspired by this week's episode (yes! to hearing you are 'working' on maybe two episodes a week!) that I wanted to toss a thought out here...I am yearning to read the bible with friends and while it would be great to meet in person, perhaps there are some members of the We Get To Nation who might be interested in reading the bible with me via zoom once a week?
I am thinking No Agenda style meet ups but on zoom and reading scripture? (so not at all like a No Agenda meet up but...you get my gist) If anyone feels inspired by this, please share thoughts and ideas. I had been a member of a bible study group which, unfortunately, became politicized and uncomfortable.
Perhaps we can start by taking Jimmy's advice and read the Book of John.
Sending love and light,
Marion
marion@marionroaman.com if anyone has any interest in this!
Pastor Jimmy what is the TV show you like to watch and have talk about on the show?
