I love the Get to Nation or the Do Getters! Thank you for this show!!! At least 5 times a day I find myself saying, "we get to do this!".

I love this! It's true... we do get to do this! Have a great "Get To" kind of day!

This podcast has been such a blessing! My journey back to Christ started about 3 years ago, and I can relate to the fire and excitement that Adam has through his journey as well! Continue spreading the good Word. I can't believe that we get to do the work of being Christ's disciples!

Spoken like a true "Do'er" Ryan! Blessings your way Brother!

Here’s an idea for the show’s followers:

Do-it Nation

We need to start seeing these mosque situations in our communities not as a threat, but as an opportunity to bring the gospel to people who need it. That might even mean having to live lives they respect and see as beautiful in order to make the gospel a message they will receive.....

Jimmy Pruitt's avatar

Nailed it Michael! I have said this repeatedly. We're here to be salt and light. If we won't go to them, maybe God is bringing them to us.

Saving a lot of money traveling to the Middle East and Africa by having them in your backyard. 😊

That is somewhat naive considering their goal is conquest. The State has a duty to protect its citizens. Applying the teachings of Christ in the sense you are advocating is suicidal.

Islam is a cult born from Christianity; they are heretics.

What do you think the reconquista was about? Better not to get to that point to begin with.

Michael Combs's avatar

Sounds a lot like Rome during early church era, how’d that turn out? 🤔😊🙏

❓ Constantine converted and Christianity became the religion of the State. Then the Muslims began to attack Christendom as they are wont to do (and are currently doing, according to their own statements), being bent on conquest. Christendom almost fell, had to fight back, and eventually expelled the invaders.

And you are advocating for reenacting this, but in Protestant America instead of Christendom? It is a doomed course from the beginning (and maybe a just judgement, in that case).

Makes no sense; best to learn from History rather than repeat the blunders.

Michael Combs's avatar

I guess that’s my point. Learn from history. “Those who live by the sword will die by the sword.” Take up your cross, brother, and follow Jesus to your death so that you may be raised to eternal life.

QE's avatar

Okay, just like Christ told the Centurian. Got it.

“We no longer take up the sword against nations, nor do we learn war anymore, since we have become children of peace, for the sake of Jesus, who is our leader, instead

of those whom our ancestors followed.”

Justin Martyr (Dialogue with Trypho, ch. 110, c. 155-160 AD)

There are a lot more like this before Constantine. Peace be with you. 🙏

I think the show followers should be called the Do Nation. It might seem a little Joel Osteenish, but I think most listeners will get it.

Also, need a greeting besides ITM. Thinking ITS: In the Spirit

Haha... it did not hit me that way but now that you mention it. Thanks for sharing. I'm leaning a little more into "Get-To Nation," because it rhymes and flows with "Gitmo-Nation." Kind of works. It's been fun and interesting reading the submissions.

And I loved the episode! Great spiritual content 🙏🏻

Pastor Jimmie: any specific resources for the carnivore diet that you utilize?

Jimmy Pruitt's avatar

Thanks Duane! We always appreciate the encouragement. BBBE... Beef, Butter, Bacon, Eggs. I really like Dr Ken Berry. He has many videos on YT. He's worth checking out. I also like Kerry Mann of Homestead How. Another great guy and brother in Christ. Also, a prolific YouTuber. Solid Brother right there. Let me know if I can help.

Duane Wiggins's avatar

Thanks Jimmy! I will look them up. And apologies for spelling your name incorrectly. My bad.

Jimmy Pruitt's avatar

No worries Brother. Also, Dr Ken Berry has some great info on Keto as well. It's a good way to take your first step into the low carb world. Annette and I were Keto for about 5 years before taking the next step into Ketovore, then Carnivore.

I wouldn’t be ashamed of a good cologne! Dior Sauvage is an excellent line. My boss got me back into cologne. He uses Creed Adventus. I’m currently using Acqua di Giò Profondo and Uomo Born in Roma Intense. Just get a bunch of sampler packs and find your scent!

Jimmy Pruitt's avatar

Adam likes the Dior Eau de Toilette, I like it too, however, I tried the Sauvage and had to have it. And, it means I don't feel like Adam is with me 24/7. We're best friends but... Haha. Thanks for the pro tips Justin!

The Sauvage is my go to cologne. I’ve received more compliments than any other I’ve ever used.
